Favorite Place: Siesta Key, FL
I was born and raised in Oklahoma but have vacationed to Siesta key almost every year of my life. I used a personal image because this island is special to me, a home away from home. Since it is located midway down the Florida coast line on the gulf side the sunsets are unmatched.

It was so nice to get to see this image up at the top of the blog stream this morning, Carly! So thank you once again for getting started early like this and with such a lovely picture to share. I know so many people had to miss their summer vacations this year, but the beaches and mountains and beautiful places are patient, and they will be there waiting for us when we emerge from this mess.
